Classes of Saints
The Apostol’s own answer to why a saint’s day gets the reading it gets
The book prints a Common Service for each class of saint, pp. 606–613: a saint’s day does not get §213 arbitrarily, it gets it because that saint is a Righteous Man or a Fool-for-Christ. Four of the classes below are headings printed above the reading itself rather than back-of-book categories, and have no Common Service of their own.
