Epistle
Chant
The Commons service — the class’s own, not the day’s. Sung where the day prints no propers of its own: 0 of the 4 dated days below. 4 print their own propers, and those are what is sung.
The Lord has shown all the wonders of His will / to all the Saints who are in His land.
Verse: I keep the Lord always before me; for He is at my right hand, and I shall not be moved.
Verse: Behold how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous! Praise befits the just!
Where these Epistles are read — 6
Reading a class’s Epistle is not the same as belonging to the class. The Apostol appoints §233 on 18 August because that day’s service is copied from December 10, not because Florus and Laurus are Confessors.
