1 Chronicles 15

And [David] made for himself houses in the city of David, and he prepared a place for the ark of God, and made a tent for it.

ΚΑΙ ἐποίησεν αὐτῷ οἰκίας ἐν πόλει Δαυίδ, καὶ ἡτοίμασε τὸν τόπον τῇ κιβωτῷ τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτῇ σκηνήν.

И҆ сотворѝ себѣ̀ до́мы во гра́дѣ даві́довѣ, и҆ ᲂу҆гото́ва мѣ́сто кївѡ́тꙋ бж҃їю, и҆ сотворѝ є҆мꙋ̀ ски́нїю.

Then said David, It is not [lawful for any] to bear the ark of God, but the Levites; for the Lord has chosen them to bear the ark of the Lord, and to minister to him for ever.

τότε εἶπε Δαυίδ· οὐκ ἔστιν ἆραι τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ, ἀλλ᾿ ἢ τοὺς Λευίτας, ὅτι αὐτοὺς ἐξελέξατο Κύριος αἴρειν τὴν κιβωτὸν Κυρίου καὶ λειτουργεῖν αὐτῷ ἕως αἰῶνος.

Тогда̀ речѐ даві́дъ: не лѣ́ть є҆́сть, (да ѿ всѧ́кагѡ) но́ситсѧ кївѡ́тъ бж҃їй, но то́кмѡ ѿ леѵі̑тъ, поне́же и҆збра̀ и҆̀хъ гдⷭ҇ь носи́ти кївѡ́тъ гдⷭ҇ень и҆ слꙋжи́ти є҆мꙋ̀ да́же до вѣ́ка.

And David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the Lord to the place which he [had] prepared for it.

καὶ ἐξεκκλησίασε Δαυὶδ τὸν πάντα ᾿Ισραὴλ ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλὴμ τοῦ ἀνενέγκαι τὴν κιβωτὸν Κυρίου εἰς τὸν τόπον, ὃν ἡτοίμασεν αὐτῇ.

И҆ собра̀ даві́дъ ве́сь і҆и҃ль во і҆ерⷭ҇ли́мъ, да внесе́тсѧ кївѡ́тъ бж҃їй на мѣ́сто, є҆́же ᲂу҆гото́ва є҆мꙋ̀.

And David gathered together the sons of Aaron the Levites.

καὶ συνήγαγε Δαυὶδ τοὺς υἱοὺς ᾿Ααρὼν τοὺς Λευίτας.

И҆ собра̀ даві́дъ сынѡ́въ а҆арѡ́новыхъ и҆ леѵі́ты:

Of the sons of Caath; [there was] Uriel the chief, and his brethren, a hundred and twenty.

τῶν υἱῶν Καάθ· Οὐριὴλ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι.

ѿ сынѡ́въ каа́ѳовыхъ ᲂу҆рїи́лъ нача́льникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, сто̀ два́десѧть:

Of the sons of Merari; Asaia the chief, and his brethren, two hundred and twenty.

τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρί· ᾿Ασαΐα ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, διακόσιοι εἴκοσι.

ѿ сынѡ́въ мера́рїныхъ а҆саі́а нача́льникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, двѣ́сти пѧтьдесѧ́тъ:

Of the sons of Gedson; Joel the chief, and his brethren, a hundred and thirty.

τῶν υἱῶν Γηρσάμ· ᾿Ιωὴλ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα.

ѿ сынѡ́въ герсѡ́нихъ і҆ѡи́ль нача́льникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, сто̀ три́десѧть:

Of the sons of Elisaphat; Semei the chief, and his brethren, two hundred.

τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ελισαφάν· Σεμεΐ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, διακόσιοι.

ѿ сынѡ́въ є҆лїсафа́нихъ семеі́а нача́льникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, двѣ́сти:

Of the sons of Chebrom; Eliel the chief, and his brethren eighty.

τῶν υἱῶν Χεβρών· ᾿Ελιὴλ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, ὀγδοήκοντα.

ѿ сынѡ́въ хеврѡ́новыхъ є҆лїи́лъ нача́льникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, ѻ҆́смьдесѧтъ:

Of the sons of Oziel; Aminadab the chief, and his brethren a hundred and twelve.

τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Οζιήλ· ᾿Αμιναδὰβ ὁ ἄρχων καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, ἑκατὸν δεκαδύο.

ѿ сынѡ́въ ѻ҆зїи́левыхъ а҆мїнада́въ нача́льникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, сто̀ двана́десѧть.

And David called Sadoc and Abiathar the priests, and the Levites, Uriel, Asaia, and Joel, and Semaia, and Eliel, and Aminadab,

καὶ ἐκάλεσε Δαυὶδ τὸν Σαδὼκ καὶ ᾿Αβιάθαρ, τοὺς ἱερεῖς, καὶ τοὺς Λευίτας, τὸν Οὐριήλ, ᾿Ασαΐαν καὶ ᾿Ιωὴλ καὶ Σαμαίαν καὶ ᾿Ελιὴλ καὶ ᾿Αμιναδάβ,

И҆ призва̀ даві́дъ садѡ́ка и҆ а҆вїаѳа́ра свѧще́нники, и҆ леѵі́ты ᲂу҆рїи́ла, а҆саі́а и҆ і҆ѡи́лѧ, и҆ семеїа́на и҆ є҆лїи́ла и҆ а҆мїнада́ва,

and said to them, Ye [are] the heads of the families of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, you and your brethren, and ye shall carry up the ark of the God of Israel, [to the place] which I have prepared for it.

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· ὑμεῖς ἄρχοντες πατριῶν τῶν Λευιτῶν, ἁγνίσθητε ὑμεῖς καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ὑμῶν καὶ ἀνοίσετε τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ ᾿Ισραήλ, οὗ ἡτοίμασα αὐτῇ·

и҆ речѐ къ ни̑мъ: вы̀, нача̑льницы ѻ҆те́чествъ леѵі́тскихъ, ѡ҆свѧти́тесѧ вы̀ и҆ бра́тїѧ ва̑ша, и҆ принеси́те кївѡ́тъ гдⷭ҇а бг҃а і҆и҃лева (на мѣ́сто), и҆дѣ́же ᲂу҆гото́вахъ є҆мꙋ̀:

For because ye were not [ready] at the first, our God made a breach upon us, because we sought him not according to the ordinance.

ὅτι οὐκ ἐν τῷ πρότερον ὑμᾶς εἶναι διέκοψεν ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν ἐν ἡμῖν, ὅτι οὐκ ἐξεζητήσαμεν ἐν κρίματι.

ꙗ҆́кѡ пре́жде ва́мъ не готѡ́вымъ сꙋ́щымъ, раздѣлѝ гдⷭ҇ь бг҃ъ на́шъ въ на́съ, ꙗ҆́кѡ не взыска́хомъ є҆гѡ̀ по разсꙋжде́нїю.

So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves, to bring up the ark of the God of Israel.

καὶ ἡγνίσθησαν οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται τοῦ ἀνενέγκαι τὴν κιβωτὸν Θεοῦ ᾿Ισραήλ.

И҆ ѡ҆свѧти́шасѧ свѧще́нницы и҆ леѵі́ти, да внесꙋ́тъ кївѡ́тъ гдⷭ҇а бг҃а і҆и҃лева.

And the sons of the Levites took the ark of God, (as Moses commanded by the word of God according to the scripture) upon their shoulders with staves.

καὶ ἔλαβον οἱ υἱοὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ, ὡς ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς ἐν λόγῳ Θεοῦ κατὰ τὴν γραφήν, ἐν ἀναφορεῦσιν ἐπ᾿ αὐτούς.

И҆ взѧ́ша сы́нове леѵі́тстїи кївѡ́тъ бж҃їй, ꙗ҆́коже повелѣ̀ мѡѷсе́й сло́вомъ бж҃їимъ по писа́нїю, ра́мены свои́ми на носи́лѣхъ.

And David said to the chiefs of the Levites, Set your brethren the singers with musical instruments, lutes, harps, and cymbals, to sound aloud with a voice of joy.

καὶ εἶπε Δαυὶδ τοῖς ἄρχουσι τῶν Λευιτῶν· στήσατε τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν τοὺς ψαλτῳδοὺς ἐν ὀργάνοις, νάβλαις, κινύραις καὶ κυμβάλοις τοῦ φωνῆσαι εἰς ὕψος ἐν φωνῇ εὐφροσύνης.

И҆ речѐ даві́дъ нача́льникѡмъ леѵі̑тскимъ: поста́вите бра́тїю свою̀ пѣвцє́въ во ѻ҆рга́нѣхъ, пѣ́снехъ мꙋсїкі́йскихъ, ѱалти́рехъ, въ гꙋ́слехъ и҆ кѷмва́лѣхъ, да возгласѧ́тъ въ высотꙋ̀ гла́сомъ весе́лїѧ.

So the Levites appointed Aeman the son of Joel; Asaph the son of Barachias [was one] of his brethren; and Aethan the son of Kisaeus was of the sons of Merari their brethren;

καὶ ἔστησαν οἱ Λευῖται τὸν Αἰμὰν υἱὸν ᾿Ιωήλ· ἐκ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ ᾿Ασὰφ υἱὸς Βαραχία. καὶ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρὶ ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ Αἰθὰν υἱὸς Κισαίου.

И҆ поста́виша леѵі́ти є҆ма́на сы́на і҆ѡи́лева: и҆ ѿ бра́тїй є҆гѡ̀ а҆са́фа сы́на варахі́ина: и҆ ѿ сынѡ́въ мера́рїныхъ, бра́тїй є҆гѡ̀, є҆ѳа́на сы́на кїсе́ова:

and with them their brethren of the second rank, Zacharias, and Oziel, and Semiramoth, and Jeiel, and Elioel, and Eliab, and Banaia, and Maasaia, and Matthathia, and Eliphena, and Makellia, and Abdedom, and Jeiel, and Ozias, the porters.

καὶ μετ᾿ αὐτῶν οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν οἱ δεύτεροι Ζαχαρίας καὶ ᾿Οζιὴλ καὶ Σεμιραμὼθ καὶ ᾿Ιεϊὴλ καὶ ᾿Ελιωὴλ καὶ ᾿Ελιὰβ καὶ Βαναία καὶ Μαασαΐα καὶ Ματταθία καὶ ᾿Ελιφαλία καὶ Μακενία καὶ ᾿Αβδεδὸμ καὶ ᾿Ιεϊὴλ καὶ ᾿Οζίας, οἱ πυλωροί.

и҆ съ ни́ми бра́тїѧ и҆́хъ, вторі́и (чи́номъ), заха́рїа и҆ ѻ҆зїи́лъ, и҆ семїрамѡ́ѳъ и҆ і҆еїи́лъ, и҆ а҆на́нїй и҆ є҆лїа́въ, и҆ ване́а и҆ маасі́а, и҆ маттаѳі́а и҆ є҆лїфала̀, и҆ макені́а и҆ а҆вдедо́мъ, и҆ і҆еїи́лъ и҆ ѻ҆зі́а, двє́рницы.

And the singers, Aeman, Asaph, and Aethan, with brazen cymbals to make [a sound] to be heard.

καὶ οἱ ψαλτῳδοί, Αἰμάν, ᾿Ασὰφ καὶ Αἰθὰν ἐν κυμβάλοις χαλκοῖς τοῦ ἀκουσθῆναι ποιῆσαι·

И҆ пѣвцы̀ є҆ма́нъ, а҆са́фъ и҆ є҆ѳа́мъ въ кѷмва́лы мѣ̑дѧны (возглаша́юще) въ слы́шанїе:

Zacharias, and Oziel, Semiramoth, Jeiel, Oni, Eliab, Maasaeas, Banaeas, with lutes, on alaemoth.

Ζαχαρίας καὶ ᾿Οζιήλ, Σεμιραμώθ, ᾿Ιεϊήλ, ᾿Ωνί, ᾿Ελιάβ, Μασαίας, Βαναίας ἐν νάβλαις ἐπὶ ἀλαιμώθ.

заха́рїа же и҆ ѻ҆зїи́лъ, и҆ семїрамѡ́ѳъ и҆ і҆еїи́лъ, и҆ а҆нані́й и҆ є҆лїа́въ, и҆ маасі́а и҆ ване́а со гꙋ́сльми та̑йны поѧ́хꙋ:

And Mattathias, and Eliphalu, and Makenia, and Abdedom, and Jeiel, and Ozias, with harps of Amasenith, to make a loud noise.

καὶ Ματταθίας καὶ ᾿Ελιφαλίας καὶ Μακενίας καὶ ᾿Αβδεδὸμ καὶ ᾿Ιεϊὴλ καὶ ᾿Οζίας ἐν κινύραις ἀμασενὶθ τοῦ ἐνισχῦσαι.

и҆ маттаѳі́а и҆ є҆лїфала̀, и҆ макені́а и҆ а҆вдедо́мъ, и҆ і҆еїи́лъ и҆ ѻ҆зі́а въ кѷмва́лѣхъ поѧ́хꙋ, є҆́же превзы́ти:

And Chonenia chief of the Levites [was] master of the bands, because he was skilful.

καὶ Χωνενία ἄρχων τῶν Λευιτῶν ἄρχων τῶν ᾠδῶν, ὅτι συνετὸς ἦν.

и҆ хѡнені́а нача́льникъ леѵі́тскїй, нача́льникъ пѣ́нїй, занѐ разꙋ́менъ бѣ̀:

And Barachia and Elcana [were] door-keepers of the ark.

καὶ Βαραχία καὶ ᾿Ελκανὰ πυλωροὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ.

и҆ варахі́а и҆ є҆лка́на двє́рницы кївѡ́та:

And Somnia, and Josaphat, and Nathanael, and Amasai, and Zacharia, and Banaea, and Eliezer, the priests, were sounding with trumpets before the ark of God: and Abdedom and Jeia [were] door-keepers of the ark of God.

καὶ Σοβνία καὶ ᾿Ιωσαφὰτ καὶ Ναθαναὴλ καὶ ᾿Αμασαΐ καὶ Ζαχαρία καὶ Βαναΐ καὶ ᾿Ελιέζερ οἱ ἱερεῖς σαλπίζοντες ταῖς σάλπιγξιν ἔμπροσθεν τῆς κιβωτοῦ τοῦ Θεοῦ. καὶ ᾿Αβδεδὸμ καὶ ᾿Ιεΐα πυλωροὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ τοῦ Θεοῦ.

и҆ сѡвені́а и҆ і҆ѡсафа́тъ, и҆ наѳана́илъ и҆ а҆масі́а, и҆ заха́рїа и҆ вана́й и҆ є҆лїезе́ръ свѧще́нницы трꙋбѧ́щїи трꙋба́ми пред̾ кївѡ́томъ бж҃їимъ: и҆ а҆вдедо́мъ и҆ і҆еі́а двє́рницы кївѡ́та бж҃їѧ.

So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains of thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant from the house of Abdedom with gladness.

καὶ ἦν Δαυὶδ καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ οἱ χιλίαρχοι οἱ πορευόμενοι τοῦ ἀναγαγεῖν τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης ἐξ οἴκου ᾿Αβδεδὸμ ἐν εὐφροσύνῃ.

И҆ бѣ̀ даві́дъ и҆ старѣ̑йшины і҆и҃лєвы и҆ ты́сѧщницы и҆дꙋ́щїи, є҆́же и҆знестѝ кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ и҆з̾ до́мꙋ а҆вдедо́млѧ съ весе́лїемъ.

And it came to pass when God strengthened the Levites bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that they sacrificed seven calves and seven rams.

καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ κατισχῦσαι τὸν Θεὸν τοὺς Λευίτας αἴροντας τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης Κυρίου καὶ ἔθυσαν ἑπτὰ μόσχους καὶ ἑπτὰ κριούς.

И҆ бы́сть є҆гда̀ ᲂу҆крѣплѧ́ше бг҃ъ леѵі́ты носѧ́щыѧ кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ, и҆ пожро́ша се́дмь тельцє́въ и҆ се́дмь ѻ҆внѡ́въ:

And David [was] girt with a fine linen robe, and all the Levites [who were] bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the singers, and Chonenias the master of the band of singers; also upon David [there was] a robe of fine linen.

καὶ Δαυὶδ περιεζωσμένος ἐν στολῇ βυσσίνῃ καὶ πάντες οἱ Λευῖται αἴροντες τὴν κιβωτὸν διαθήκης Κυρίου καὶ οἱ ψαλτῳδοὶ καὶ Χωνενίας ὁ ἄρχων τῶν ᾠδῶν τῶν ἆδόντων, καὶ ἐπὶ Δαυὶδ στολὴ βυσσίνη.

даві́дъ же бѧ́ше ѡ҆дѣ́ѧнъ ри́зою вѷссо́нною, и҆ всѝ леѵі́ти, носѧ́щїи кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ, пѣвцы́ же и҆ хѡнені́а нача́льникъ пѣ́сней пою́щихъ, на даві́дѣ же бѣ̀ є҆фꙋ́дъ вѷссо́нный.

And all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of a horn, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, playing loudly on lutes and harps.

καὶ πᾶς ᾿Ισραὴλ ἀνάγοντες τὴν κιβωτὸν διαθήκης Κυρίου ἐν σημασίᾳ καὶ ἐν φωνῇ σωφὲρ καὶ ἐν σάλπιγξι καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις, ἀναφωνοῦντες ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κινύραις.

И҆ ве́сь і҆и҃ль провожда́ше кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ съ восклица́нїемъ и҆ гла́сомъ трꙋ́бнымъ, и҆ съ трꙋба́ми и҆ кѷмва̑лы, глаша́юще въ гꙋ́сли и҆ кїѳа̑ры.

And the ark of the covenant of the Lord arrived, and came to the city of David; and Melchol the daughter of Saul looked down through the window, and saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.

καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ κιβωτὸς διαθήκης Κυρίου καὶ ἦλθεν ἕως πόλεως Δαυίδ, καὶ Μελχὸλ ἡ θυγάτηρ Σαοὺλ παρέκυψε διὰ τῆς θυρίδος καὶ εἶδε τὸν βασιλέα Δαυὶδ ὀρχούμενον καὶ παίζοντα, καὶ ἐξουδένωσεν αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ ψυχῇ αὐτῆς.

И҆ бы́сть є҆гда̀ прїи́де кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ да́же до гра́да даві́дова, и҆ мелхо́ла дщѝ саꙋ́лѧ смотрѧ́ше во ѻ҆кно̀, и҆ ви́дѣ царѧ̀ даві́да ска́чꙋща и҆ и҆гра́юща и҆ ᲂу҆ничижѝ є҆го̀ въ се́рдцы свое́мъ.
