The righteous one shall rejoice in the Lord / and shall set his hope on Him.

Verse: Hear my voice, O God, when I pray to Thee!

Brethren, God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past unto the fathers by the Prophets, has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, being made so much better than the Angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the Angels did He ever say: “Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten Thee”? Or again: “I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son”? And again, when He brings the firstborn into the world, He saith: “Let all the Angels of God worship Him.” And of the Angels He saith: “Who makes His Angels spirits, and His ministers a flaming fire.” But unto the Son He saith: ‘Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Thy Kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even Thy God, hath anointed Thee with the oil of gladness more than Thy companions...”

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree and shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Verse: They that are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in the courts of our God.

Communion Hymn

The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not fear evil tidings.

The righteous one shall rejoice in the Lord and shall set his hope on Him.

Verse: Hear my voice, O God, when I pray unto Thee!________________________________ * Until the Leavetaking.

My son Timothy, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who shall be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who chose him to be a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. It is the farmer that labors who must take the first share of the crops. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my Gospel, for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Hebrews 2:11–18 § 306 (Theotokos)

(Song of the Teotokos): My soul magnifies the Lord / and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

Verse: For He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden, for behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.

Brethren, both He that sanctifies and they who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying: “I will declare Thy name unto My brethren, in the midst of the congregation will sing praise unto Thee.” And again: “I will put My trust in Him.” And again: “Behold, I and the children which God hath given Me.” Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release them, who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For indeed, He took not upon Himself the nature of Angels, but He took upon Himself the seed of Abraham. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make expiation for the sins of the H people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to help those who are tempted.

Verse: The Lord has sworn to David a sure oath and will not change His mind!

And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

Καὶ ἐγένετο παραπορεύεσθαι αὐτὸν ἐν τοῖς σάββασι διὰ τῶν σπορίμων, καὶ ἤρξαντο οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ὁδὸν ποιεῖν τίλλοντες τοὺς στάχυας.

[Заⷱ҇ 10] И҆ бы́сть мимоходи́ти є҆мꙋ̀ въ сꙋббѡ̑ты сквозѣ̀ сѣ̑ѧнїѧ, и҆ нача́ша ᲂу҆чн҃цы̀ є҆гѡ̀ пꙋ́ть твори́ти, востерза́юще кла́сы.

And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι ἔλεγον αὐτῷ· ἴδε τί ποιοῦσιν ἐν τοῖς σάββασιν ὃ οὐκ ἔξεστι.

И҆ фарїсе́є глаго́лахꙋ є҆мꙋ̀: ви́ждь, что̀ творѧ́тъ въ сꙋббѡ̑ты, є҆гѡ́же не досто́итъ;

And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?

καὶ αὐτὸς ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· οὐδέποτε ἀνέγνωτε τί ἐποίησε Δαυῒδ ὅτε χρείαν ἔσχε καὶ ἐπείνασεν αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ;

И҆ то́й гл҃аше и҆̀мъ: нѣ́сте ли николи́же члѝ, что̀ сотворѝ дв҃дъ, є҆гда̀ тре́бованїе и҆мѣ̀ и҆ взалка̀ са́мъ и҆ и҆̀же съ ни́мъ;

How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

πῶς εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐπὶ Ἀβιάθαρ ἀρχιερέως καὶ τοὺς ἄρτους τῆς προθέσεως ἔφαγεν, οὓς οὐκ ἔξεστι φαγεῖν εἰ μὴ τοῖς ἱερεῦσι, καὶ ἔδωκε καὶ τοῖς σὺν αὐτῷ οὖσι;

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· τὸ σάββατον διὰ τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἐγένετο, οὐχ ὁ ἄνθρωπος διὰ τὸ σάββατον·

И҆ гл҃аше и҆̀мъ: сꙋббѡ́та человѣ́ка ра́ди бы́сть, а҆ не человѣ́къ сꙋббѡ́ты ра́ди:

Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

ὥστε κύριός ἐστιν ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου καὶ τοῦ σαββάτου.

тѣ́мже госпо́дь є҆́сть сн҃ъ чл҃вѣ́ческїй и҆ сꙋббѡ́тѣ.

Chapter 3

1

AND he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.

Καὶ εἰσῆλθε πάλιν εἰς τὴν συναγωγήν· καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος ἐξηραμμένην ἔχων τὴν χεῖρα.

И҆ вни́де па́ки въ со́нмище: и҆ бѣ̀ та́мѡ человѣ́къ, сꙋ́хꙋ и҆мы́й рꙋ́кꙋ.

And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

καὶ παρετήρουν αὐτὸν εἰ τοῖς σάββασι θεραπεύσει αὐτόν, ἵνα κατηγορήσωσιν αὐτοῦ.

И҆ назира́хꙋ є҆го̀, а҆́ще въ сꙋббѡ̑ты и҆сцѣли́тъ є҆го̀, да на́нь возглаго́лютъ.

And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

καὶ λέγει τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τῷ ἐξηραμμένην ἔχοντι τὴν χεῖρα· ἔγειρε εἰς τὸ μέσον.

И҆ гл҃а человѣ́кꙋ сꙋ́хꙋ и҆мꙋ́щемꙋ рꙋ́кꙋ: ста́ни посредѣ̀.

And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· ἔξεστι τοῖς σάββασιν ἀγαθοποιῆσαι ἢ κακοποιῆσαι; ψυχὴν σῶσαι ἢ ἀποκτεῖναι; οἱ δὲ ἐσιώπων.

И҆ гл҃а и҆̀мъ: досто́итъ ли въ сꙋббѡ̑ты добро̀ твори́ти, и҆лѝ ѕло̀ твори́ти; дꙋ́шꙋ спастѝ, и҆лѝ погꙋби́ти; Ѻ҆ни́ же молча́хꙋ.

And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

καὶ περιβλεψάμενος αὐτοὺς μετ᾿ ὀργῆς, συλλυπούμενος ἐπὶ τῇ πωρώσει τῆς καρδίας αὐτῶν, λέγει τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ· ἔκτεινον τὴν χεῖρά σου. καὶ ἐξέτεινε, καὶ ἀποκατεστάθη ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ ὑγιὴς ὡς ἡ ἄλλη.

И҆ воззрѣ́въ на ни́хъ со гнѣ́вомъ, скорбѧ̀ ѡ҆ ѡ҆камене́нїи серде́цъ и҆́хъ, гл҃а человѣ́кꙋ: прострѝ рꙋ́кꙋ твою̀. И҆ прострѐ: и҆ ᲂу҆тверди́сѧ рꙋка̀ є҆гѡ̀ цѣла̀ ꙗ҆́кѡ дрꙋга́ѧ.

These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Ταῦτα ἐντέλλομαι ὑμῖν, ἵνα ἀγαπᾶτε ἀλλήλους.

[Заⷱ҇ 52] Сїѧ̑ заповѣ́даю ва́мъ, да лю́бите дрꙋ́гъ дрꙋ́га.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

εἰ ὁ κόσμος ὑμᾶς μισεῖ, γινώσκετε ὅτι ἐμὲ πρῶτον ὑμῶν μεμίσηκεν.

А҆́ще мі́ръ ва́съ ненави́дитъ, вѣ́дите, ꙗ҆́кѡ менѐ пре́жде ва́съ возненави́дѣ:

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

εἰ ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου ἦτε, ὁ κόσμος ἂν τὸ ἴδιον ἐφίλει· ὅτι δὲ ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου οὐκ ἐστέ, ἀλλ’ ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου, διὰ τοῦτο μισεῖ ὑμᾶς ὁ κόσμος.

а҆́ще ѿ мі́ра бы́сте бы́ли, мі́ръ ᲂу҆́бѡ своѐ люби́лъ бы̀: ꙗ҆́коже ѿ мі́ра нѣ́сте, но а҆́зъ и҆збра́хъ вы̀ ѿ мі́ра, сегѡ̀ ра́ди ненави́дитъ ва́съ мі́ръ.

20

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

μνημονεύετε τοῦ λόγου οὗ ἐγὼ εἶπον ὑμῖν· οὐκ ἔστι δοῦλος μείζων τοῦ κυρίου αὐτοῦ. εἰ ἐμὲ ἐδίωξαν, καὶ ὑμᾶς διώξουσιν· εἰ τὸν λόγον μου ἐτήρησαν, καὶ τὸν ὑμέτερον τηρήσουσιν.

Помина́йте сло́во, є҆́же а҆́зъ рѣ́хъ ва́мъ: нѣ́сть ра́бъ бо́лїй го́спода своегѡ̀: а҆́ще менѐ и҆згна́ша, и҆ ва́съ и҆зженꙋ́тъ: а҆́ще сло́во моѐ соблюдо́ша, и҆ ва́ше соблюдꙋ́тъ:

But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

ἀλλὰ ταῦτα πάντα ποιήσουσιν ὑμῖν διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου, ὅτι οὐκ οἴδασι τὸν πέμψαντά με.

но сїѧ̑ всѧ̑ творѧ́тъ ва́мъ за и҆́мѧ моѐ, ꙗ҆́кѡ не вѣ́дѧтъ посла́вшагѡ мѧ̀.

22

If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.

εἰ μὴ ἦλθον καὶ ἐλάλησα αὐτοῖς, ἁμαρτίαν οὐκ εἶχον· νῦν δὲ πρόφασιν οὐκ ἔχουσι περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν.

А҆́ще не бы́хъ прише́лъ и҆ гл҃алъ и҆̀мъ, грѣха̀ не бы́ша и҆мѣ́ли: нн҃ѣ же вины̀ {и҆звине́нїѧ} не и҆́мꙋтъ ѡ҆ грѣсѣ̀ свое́мъ:

He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

ὁ ἐμὲ μισῶν καὶ τὸν πατέρα μου μισεῖ.

ненави́дѧй менѐ, и҆ ѻ҆ц҃а̀ моего̀ ненави́дитъ:

24

If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

εἰ τὰ ἔργα μὴ ἐποίησα ἐν αὐτοῖς ἃ οὐδεὶς ἄλλος πεποίηκεν, ἁμαρτίαν οὐκ εἶχον· νῦν δὲ καὶ ἑωράκασι καὶ μεμισήκασι καὶ ἐμὲ καὶ τὸν πατέρα μου.

а҆́ще дѣ́лъ не бы́хъ сотвори́лъ въ ни́хъ, и҆́хже и҆́нъ никто́же сотворѝ, грѣха̀ не бы́ша и҆мѣ́ли: нн҃ѣ же и҆ ви́дѣша, и҆ возненави́дѣша менѐ и҆ ѻ҆ц҃а̀ моего̀:

25

But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

ἀλλ’ ἵνα πληρωθῇ ὁ λόγος ὁ γεγραμμένος ἐν τῷ νόμῳ αὐτῶν, ὅτι ἐμίσησάν με δωρεάν.

но да сбꙋ́детсѧ сло́во, пи́санное въ зако́нѣ и҆́хъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ возненави́дѣша мѧ̀ тꙋ́не.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

ὅταν δὲ ἔλθῃ ὁ παράκλητος ὃν ἐγὼ πέμψω ὑμῖν παρὰ τοῦ πατρός, τὸ Πνεῦμα τῆς ἀληθείας ὃ παρὰ τοῦ πατρὸς ἐκπορεύεται, ἐκεῖνος μαρτυρήσει περὶ ἐμοῦ·

Є҆гда́ же прїи́детъ ᲂу҆тѣ́шитель, є҆го́же а҆́зъ послю̀ ва́мъ ѿ ѻ҆ц҃а̀, дх҃ъ и҆́стины, и҆́же ѿ ѻ҆ц҃а̀ и҆схо́дитъ, то́й свидѣ́тельствꙋетъ ѡ҆ мнѣ̀:

27

And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

καὶ ὑμεῖς δὲ μαρτυρεῖτε, ὅτι ἀπ’ ἀρχῆς μετ’ ἐμοῦ ἐστε.

и҆ вы́ же свидѣ́тельствꙋете, ꙗ҆́кѡ и҆сконѝ со мно́ю є҆стѐ.

Chapter 16

1

THESE things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.

Ταῦτα λελάληκα ὑμῖν ἵνα μὴ σκανδαλισθῆτε.

Сїѧ̑ гл҃ахъ ва́мъ, да не соблазните́сѧ.

2

They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

ἀποσυναγώγους ποιήσουσιν ὑμᾶς· ἀλλ’ ἔρχεται ὥρα ἵνα πᾶς ὁ ἀποκτείνας ὑμᾶς δόξῃ λατρείαν προσφέρειν τῷ Θεῷ.

Ѿ со́нмищъ и҆жденꙋ́тъ вы̀: [Заⷱ҇ 53] но прїи́детъ ча́съ, да всѧ́къ, и҆́же ᲂу҆бїе́тъ вы̀, возмни́тсѧ слꙋ́жбꙋ приноси́ти бг҃ꙋ:

And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,

μετὰ δὲ ταύτας τὰς ἡμέρας συνέλαβεν Ἐλισάβετ ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ, καὶ περιέκρυβεν ἑαυτὴν μῆνας πέντε,

Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.

λέγουσα ὅτι οὕτω μοι πεποίηκεν ὁ Κύριος ἐν ἡμέραις αἷς ἐπεῖδεν ἀφελεῖν τὸ ὄνειδός μου ἐν ἀνθρώποις.

ꙗ҆́кѡ та́кѡ мнѣ̀ сотворѝ гдⷭ҇ь во дни̑, въ нѧ́же призрѣ̀ ѿѧ́ти поноше́нїе моѐ въ человѣ́цѣхъ.

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

Ἐν δὲ τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἕκτῳ ἀπεστάλη ὁ ἄγγελος Γαβριὴλ ὑπὸ τοῦ Θεοῦ εἰς πόλιν τῆς Γαλιλαίας, ᾗ ὄνομα Ναζαρέτ,

Въ мцⷭ҇ъ же шесты́й по́сланъ бы́сть а҆́гг҃лъ гаврїи́лъ ѿ бг҃а во гра́дъ галїле́йскїй, є҆мꙋ́же и҆́мѧ назаре́тъ,

To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

πρὸς παρθένον μεμνηστευμένην ἀνδρί, ᾧ ὄνομα Ἰωσήφ, ἐξ οἴκου Δαυΐδ, καὶ τὸ ὄνομα τῆς παρθένου Μαριάμ.

къ дв҃ѣ ѡ҆брꙋче́ннѣй мꙋ́жеви, є҆мꙋ́же и҆́мѧ і҆ѡ́сифъ, ѿ до́мꙋ дв҃дова: и҆ и҆́мѧ дв҃ѣ мр҃їа́мь.

And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

καὶ εἰσελθὼν ὁ ἄγγελος πρὸς αὐτὴν εἶπε· χαῖρε, κεχαριτωμένη· ὁ Κύριος μετὰ σοῦ· εὐλογημένη σὺ ἐν γυναιξίν.

И҆ вше́дъ къ не́й а҆́гг҃лъ речѐ: ра́дꙋйсѧ, блгⷣтнаѧ: гдⷭ҇ь съ тобо́ю: блгⷭ҇ве́на ты̀ въ жена́хъ.

29

And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

ἡ δὲ ἰδοῦσα διεταράχθη ἐπὶ τῷ λόγῳ αὐτοῦ, καὶ διελογίζετο ποταπὸς εἴη ὁ ἀσπασμὸς οὗτος.

Ѻ҆на́ же ви́дѣвши смꙋти́сѧ ѡ҆ словесѝ є҆гѡ̀ и҆ помышлѧ́ше, каково̀ бꙋ́детъ цѣлова́нїе сїѐ.

30

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

καὶ εἶπεν ὁ ἄγγελος αὐτῇ· μὴ φοβοῦ, Μαριάμ· εὗρες γὰρ χάριν παρὰ τῷ Θεῷ.

И҆ речѐ а҆́гг҃лъ є҆́й: не бо́йсѧ, мр҃їа́мь: ѡ҆брѣла́ бо є҆сѝ блгⷣть ᲂу҆ бг҃а.

31

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

καὶ ἰδοὺ συλλήψῃ ἐν γαστρὶ καὶ τέξῃ υἱόν, καὶ καλέσεις τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ἰησοῦν.

И҆ сѐ зачне́ши во чре́вѣ, и҆ роди́ши сн҃а, и҆ нарече́ши и҆́мѧ є҆мꙋ̀ і҆и҃съ:

32

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

οὗτος ἔσται μέγας καὶ υἱὸς ὑψίστου κληθήσεται, καὶ δώσει αὐτῷ Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς τὸν θρόνον Δαυῒδ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ,

се́й бꙋ́детъ ве́лїй, и҆ сн҃ъ вы́шнѧгѡ нарече́тсѧ: и҆ да́стъ є҆мꙋ̀ гдⷭ҇ь бг҃ъ прⷭ҇то́лъ дв҃да ѻ҆тца̀ є҆гѡ̀:

And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

καὶ βασιλεύσει ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον Ἰακὼβ εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας, καὶ τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἔσται τέλος.

и҆ воцр҃и́тсѧ въ домꙋ̀ і҆а́кѡвли во вѣ́ки, и҆ црⷭ҇твїю є҆гѡ̀ не бꙋ́детъ конца̀.

34

Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

εἶπε δὲ Μαριὰμ πρὸς τὸν ἄγγελον· πῶς ἔσται μοι τοῦτο, ἐπεὶ ἄνδρα οὐ γινώσκω;

Рече́ же мр҃їа́мь ко а҆́гг҃лꙋ: ка́кѡ бꙋ́детъ сїѐ, и҆дѣ́же мꙋ́жа не зна́ю;

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ ἄγγελος εἶπεν αὐτῇ· Πνεῦμα Ἅγιον ἐπελεύσεται ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ δύναμις ὑψίστου ἐπισκιάσει σοι· διὸ καὶ τὸ γεννώμενον ἅγιον κληθήσεται υἱὸς Θεοῦ.

И҆ ѿвѣща́въ а҆́гг҃лъ речѐ є҆́й: дх҃ъ ст҃ы́й на́йдетъ на тѧ̀, и҆ си́ла вы́шнѧгѡ ѡ҆сѣни́тъ тѧ̀: тѣ́мже и҆ ражда́емое ст҃о нарече́тсѧ сн҃ъ бж҃їй:

And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

καὶ ἰδοὺ Ἐλισάβετ ἡ συγγενής σου καὶ αὐτὴ συνειληφυῖα υἱὸν ἐν γήρει αὐτῆς, καὶ οὗτος μὴν ἕκτος ἐστὶν αὐτῇ τῇ καλουμένῃ στείρᾳ·

и҆ сѐ, є҆лїсаве́тъ ю҆́жика твоѧ̀, и҆ та̀ зача́тъ сы́на въ ста́рости свое́й: и҆ се́й мцⷭ҇ъ шесты́й є҆́сть є҆́й нарица́емѣй непло́ды:

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

ὅτι οὐκ ἀδυνατήσει παρὰ τῷ Θεῷ πᾶν ρῆμα.

ꙗ҆́кѡ не и҆знемо́жетъ ᲂу҆ бг҃а всѧ́къ гл҃го́лъ.

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

εἶπε δὲ Μαριάμ· ἰδοὺ ἡ δούλη Κυρίου· γένοιτό μοι κατὰ τὸ ρῆμά σου. καὶ ἀπῆλθεν ἀπ᾿ αὐτῆς ὁ ἄγγελος.

Рече́ же мр҃їа́мь: сѐ, раба̀ гдⷭ҇нѧ: бꙋ́ди мнѣ̀ по глаго́лꙋ твоемꙋ̀. И҆ ѿи́де ѿ неѧ̀ а҆́гг҃лъ.
