Apostol § 92

Brethren, reckon yourselves also to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. Neither yield your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but yield yourselves to God as men who have been brought from death unto life, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? God forbid! Do you not know that if you yield [yourselves to any one as] obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads unto death, or of obedience, which leads unto righteousness? But thanks be to God, that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart the doctrine which was delivered [unto] you.
