Apostol § 333ctr
The Lord is my Light and my Salvation / whom, then, shall I fear?
Verse: The Lord is the Defender of my life! Of whom shall I be afraid?
Brethren, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: for our God is a consuming fire. Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have entertained Angels unawares. Remember them that are in prison as though in prison with them; and those who are mistreated, since you yourselves are also in the body. Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For He has said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear; what can man do unto me? …” Remember them which rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever…
The Lord is King, He is robed in majesty!
Verse: For He has established the world so that it shall never be moved!
From the mouths of babes and infants Thou hast founded praise!
