Apostol § 309
Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, O ye Great Lent righteous.
Verse: Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Brethren, beware lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is still “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end, while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” For some, when they heard, rebelled. Indeed, was it not all that came out of Egypt, led by Moses?
The righteous cried and the Lord heard them and delivered them out of all their troubles.
Verse: Many are the afflictions of the righteous; the Lord will deliver them out of them all.
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous! Praise befits the just!
