Apostol § 246

Philippians 3:20–4:3
Prokeimenon, Tone 7

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints!

Verse: What shall I render to the Lord for all His bounty to me?

Brethren, our habitation is in heaven, from which we also await the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall transform our lowly body that it may be made like unto His glorious Body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself… Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. I beseech Euódia and I implore Sýntyché that they be of the same mind in the Lord. And I entreat you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the Gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
