Apostol § 230
Thou hast placed upon their heads crowns of precious stone; / they asked life of Thee, and Thou gavest it to them.
Verse: For Thou wilt give them Thy blessing forever and ever; Thou wilt make them to rejoice with gladness through Thy presence
Brethren, give thanks always for all things to God the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the Church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, as the Church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing… Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the Church and gave Himself for it, that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word …
Thou, O Lord, shalt protect us and preserve us from this generation for ever!
