Apostol § 115
Let the Saints exult in the Lord / let them sing for joy on their couches.
Verse: The praises of God shall be in their mouths, and two-edged swords in their hands.
Brethren, let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense. It is good neither to eat meat, nor drink wine, nor do anything by which your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak. Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he that condemns not himself in that which he approves. And he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he eats not of faith; for whatsoever is not of faith is sin… Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my Gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures of the Prophets has been made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith: to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in the courts of our God.
Verse: Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, O ye righteous.
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous! Praise befits the just!
