And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

ΚΑΙ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·

И҆ речѐ гдⷭ҇ь къ мѡѷсе́ю, гл҃ѧ:

Charge the children of Israel, and let them send forth out of the camp every leper, and every one who has in issue of the reins, and every one who is unclean from a dead body. [*]

πρόσταξον τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ ἐξαποστειλάτωσαν ἐκ τῆς παρεμβολῆς πάντα λεπρὸν καὶ πάντα γονορρυῆ καὶ πάντα ἀκάθαρτον ἐπὶ ψυχῇ·

повелѝ сынѡ́мъ і҆и҃лєвымъ, и҆ да и҆зго́нѧтъ и҆з̾ полка̀ всѧ́каго прокаже́ннаго, и҆ всѧ́каго пролива́ющаго сѣ́мѧ, и҆ всѧ́каго нечи́стаго дꙋше́ю:

Whether male or female, send them forth out of the camp; and they shall not defile their camps in which I dwell among them.

ἀπὸ ἀρσενικοῦ ἕως θηλυκοῦ ἐξαποστείλατε ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς, καὶ οὐ μὴ μιανοῦσι τὰς παρεμβολὰς αὐτῶν, ἐν οἷς ἐγὼ καταγίνομαι ἐν αὐτοῖς.

ѿ мꙋ́жеска по́лꙋ до же́нска, и҆згони́те внѣ̀ полка̀, и҆ да не ѡ҆сквернѧ́тъ полкѡ́въ свои́хъ, въ ни́хже а҆́зъ пребыва́ю.

And the children of Israel did so, and sent them out of the camp: as the Lord said to Moses, so did the children of Israel.

καὶ ἐποίησαν οὕτως οἱ υἱοὶ ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ ἐξαπέστειλαν αὐτοὺς ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς· καθὰ ἐλάλησε Κύριος Μωυσῇ, οὕτως ἐποίησαν οἱ υἱοὶ ᾿Ισραήλ.

И҆ сотвори́ша сы́нове і҆и҃лєвы та́кѡ, и҆ и҆згна́ша и҆̀хъ внѣ̀ полка̀: ꙗ҆́коже гл҃а гдⷭ҇ь мѡѷсе́ю, та́кѡ сотвори́ша сы́нове і҆и҃лєвы.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

καὶ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·

И҆ речѐ гдⷭ҇ь къ мѡѷсе́ю, гл҃ѧ:

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Every man or woman who shall commit any sin that is common to man, or if that soul shall in anywise have neglected the commandment and transgressed;

λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ λέγων· ἀνὴρ ἢ γυνή, ὅς τις ἂν ποιήσῃ ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν τῶν ἀνθρωπίνων, καὶ παριδὼν παρίδῃ καὶ πλημμελήσῃ ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη,

рцы̀ сынѡ́мъ і҆и҃лєвымъ, глаго́лѧ: мꙋ́жъ и҆лѝ жена̀, и҆́же а҆́ще сотвори́тъ ѿ всѣ́хъ грѣхѡ́въ человѣ́ческихъ и҆ презира́ѧ пре́зритъ гдⷭ҇а, и҆ престꙋ́питъ дꙋша̀ ѻ҆́на:

What does this mean: “if any man or woman commits one of all the human sins”?Scripture call the smaller sins human. It is not possible for human nature, subject to change as it is, to be delivered from every sin. For “no one is clean from filth, even if his life is one day long.” This is why holy David says, “Do not enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no living man will be justified.” Only Christ the Lord, both as God and as man, is blameless. The prophet Isaiah foresaw this and said, “He committed no transgression, nor was deceit found in his mouth.” For this reason he took upon himself the sins of others, for he had none of his own. For Isaiah also says, “He bears our sins, and he is afflicted for us.” And the great John says, “Behold the lamb of God, who bears the sins of the world.” For this reason he is also called “free among the dead,” since he suffered death unjustly. The divine law teaches how those who have sinned moderately are to be healed. For the law commands that he who has done wrong in a matter of contracts should first confess the sin and then give back what was taken to the one he wronged, adding one fifth to the principal. If it happens that the one wronged dies before the sinner repents of his sin, he should pay the amount to the man’s nearest relative. The law names as his nearest relative the one related to him by generation. The order of generation is this: first his son, then his daughter, then the brother of his father, then the brother of his grandfather. If there is none of these, then it should be another close kinsman. If no kinsman can be found, the law declares that he should offer the stated sum to God. For the law says this: “If the man has no near relative, so that the sinner can give him what he owes, then the debt is paid to the Lord in the person of the priest, except for the ram of expiation, through which expiation is made for him.” The law mandates that the priests should eat the first fruits that are offered. For the Levites were the first fruits of the people, and the priests were the first fruits of the Levites. As first fruits, then, they acquire the first fruits.

[that person] shall confess the sin which he has committed, and shall make satisfaction for his trespass: he [shall pay] the principal, and shall add to it the fifth part, and shall make restoration to him against whom he has trespassed.

ἐξαγορεύσει τὴν ἁμαρτίαν, ἣν ἐποίησε, καὶ ἀποδώσει τὴν πλημμέλειαν τὸ κεφάλαιον καὶ τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον αὐτοῦ προσθήσει ἐπ’ αὐτό, καὶ ἀποδώσει, τίνι ἐπλημμέλησεν αὐτῷ.

But if a man have no near kinsman, so as to make satisfaction for his trespass to him, the trespass-offering paid to the Lord shall be for the priest, besides the ram of atonement, by which he shall make atonement with it for him.

ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ᾖ τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ ὁ ἀγχιστεύων, ὥστε ἀποδοῦναι αὐτῷ τὸ πλημμέλημα πρὸς αὐτόν, τὸ πλημμέλημα τὸ ἀποδιδόμενον Κυρίῳ τῷ ἱερεῖ ἔσται, πλὴν τοῦ κριοῦ τοῦ ἱλασμοῦ, δι’ οὗ ἐξιλάσεται ἐν αὐτῷ περὶ αὐτοῦ.

А҆́ще же нѣ́сть человѣ́кꙋ ᲂу҆́жика, ꙗ҆́кѡ ѿда́ти є҆мꙋ̀ престꙋпле́нїе, престꙋпле́нїе ѿдае́мое гдⷭ҇ꙋ, жерцꙋ̀ да бꙋ́детъ, кромѣ̀ ѻ҆вна̀ ѡ҆чище́нїѧ, и҆́мже помо́литсѧ ѡ҆ не́мъ.

And every first-fruits in all the sanctified things among the children of Israel, whatsoever they shall offer to the Lord, shall be for the priest himself.

καὶ πᾶσα ἀπαρχὴ κατὰ πάντα τὰ ἁγιαζόμενα ἐν υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραήλ, ὅσα ἐὰν προσφέρωσι Κυρίῳ, τῷ ἱερεῖ αὐτῷ ἔσται.

И҆ всѧ́къ нача́токъ, и҆ всѧ̑ ѡ҆свѧща́ємаѧ въ сынѣ́хъ і҆и҃левыхъ, є҆ли̑ка а҆́ще прино́сѧтъ гдⷭ҇ꙋ, жерцꙋ̀ самомꙋ̀ да бꙋ́дꙋтъ:

And the hallowed things of every man shall be his; and whatever man shall give [any thing] to the priest, the gift shall be his.

καὶ ἑκάστου τὰ ἡγιασμένα αὐτοῦ ἔσται· καὶ ἀνήρ, ὃς ἂν δῷ τῷ ἱερεῖ, αὐτῷ ἔσται.

и҆ коегѡ́ждо ѡ҆свѧщє́наѧ, томꙋ̀ да бꙋ́дꙋтъ и҆ мꙋ́жъ а҆́ще да́стъ жерцꙋ̀, томꙋ̀ да бꙋ́детъ.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Καὶ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·

И҆ речѐ гдⷭ҇ь къ мѡѷсе́ю, гл҃ѧ:

Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whosesoever wife shall transgress against him, and slight and despise him,

λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραήλ, καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς· ἀνδρὸς ἀνδρός, ἐὰν παραβῇ ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ὑπεριδοῦσα παρίδῃ αὐτὸν

глаго́ли сынѡ́мъ і҆и҃лєвымъ и҆ рече́ши къ ни̑мъ: мꙋ́жа, мꙋ́жа а҆́ще престꙋ́питъ жена̀ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ презира́ющи пре́зритъ є҆го̀,

and [supposing] any one shall lie with her carnally, and the thing shall be hid from the eyes of her husband, and she should conceal it and be herself defiled, and there be no witness with her, and she should not be taken;

καὶ κοιμηθῇ τις μετ’ αὐτῆς κοίτην σπέρματος, καὶ λάθῃ ἐξ ὀφθαλμῶν τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς καὶ κρύψῃ, αὐτὴ δὲ ᾖ μεμιασμένη καὶ μάρτυς μὴ ἦν μετ’ αὐτῆς, καὶ αὐτὴ μὴ ᾖ συνειλημμένη,

и҆ бꙋ́детъ кто̀ съ не́ю ло́жемъ сѣ́мене, и҆ ᲂу҆таи́тсѧ ѿ ѻ҆́чїю мꙋ́жа є҆ѧ̀, и҆ ᲂу҆кры́етсѧ, ѻ҆на́ же бꙋ́детъ ѡ҆скверне́на, и҆ свидѣ́телѧ не бꙋ́детъ на ню̀ и҆ сїѧ̀ нѣ́сть ꙗ҆́та,

and there should come upon him a spirit of jealousy, and he should be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled; or there should come upon him a spirit of jealousy, and he should be jealous of his wife, and she should not be defiled;

καὶ ἐπέλθῃ αὐτῷ πνεῦμα ζηλώσεως καὶ ζηλώσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ, αὐτὴ δὲ μεμίανται, ἢ ἐπέλθῃ αὐτῷ πνεῦμα ζηλώσεως καὶ ζηλώσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ, αὐτὴ δὲ μὴ ᾖ μεμιασμένη,

и҆ прїи́детъ на него̀ дꙋ́хъ ревнова́нїѧ, и҆ возревнꙋ́етъ къ женѣ̀ свое́й, ѻ҆на́ же ѡ҆скверне́на є҆́сть, и҆лѝ прїи́детъ є҆мꙋ̀ дꙋ́хъ ревнова́нїѧ, и҆ возревнꙋ́етъ къ женѣ̀ свое́й, ѻ҆на́ же не бꙋ́детъ ѡ҆скверне́на,

then shall the man bring his wife to the priest, and shall bring his gift for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley-meal: he shall not pour oil upon it, neither shall he put frankincense upon it; for it is a sacrifice of jealousy, a sacrifice of memorial, recalling sin to remembrance.

καὶ ἄξει ὁ ἄνθρωπος τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα καὶ προσοίσει τὸ δῶρον περὶ αὐτῆς, τὸ δέκατον τοῦ οἰφὶ ἄλευρον κρίθινον, οὐκ ἐπιχεεῖ ἐπ’ αὐτὸ ἔλαιον, οὐδὲ ἐπιθήσει ἐπ’ αὐτὸ λίβανον· ἔστι γὰρ θυσία ζηλοτυπίας, θυσία μνημοσύνου, ἀναμιμνήσκουσα ἁμαρτίαν.

и҆ да приведе́тъ мꙋ́жъ женꙋ̀ свою̀ къ жерцꙋ̀, и҆ да принесе́тъ да́ръ за ню̀, десѧ́тꙋю ча́сть мѣ́ры є҆́фї мꙋкѝ ꙗ҆́чныѧ: да не возлїе́тъ на ню̀ є҆ле́а, нижѐ да возложи́тъ на ню̀ лїва́на: же́ртва бо ревнова́нїѧ є҆́сть, же́ртва па́мѧти воспомина́ющаѧ грѣ́хъ.

And the priest shall bring her, and cause her to stand before the Lord.

καὶ προσάξει αὐτὴν ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ στήσει αὐτὴν ἔναντι Κυρίου,

И҆ приведе́тъ ю҆̀ жре́цъ и҆ поста́витъ ю҆̀ пред̾ гдⷭ҇емъ:

17

And the priest shall take pure running water in an earthen vessel, and he shall take of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle of witness, and the priest having taken it shall cast it into the water.

καὶ λήψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς ὕδωρ καθαρὸν ζῶν ἐν ἀγγείῳ ὀστρακίνῳ καὶ τῆς γῆς τῆς οὔσης ἐπὶ τοῦ ἐδάφους τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ λαβὼν ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐμβαλεῖ εἰς τὸ ὕδωρ.

и҆ да во́зметъ жре́цъ во́дꙋ жи́вꙋ чи́стꙋ въ сосꙋ́дѣ гли́нѧнѣ, и҆ ѿ пе́рсти на землѝ сꙋ́щїѧ ᲂу҆ ски́нїи свидѣ́нїѧ, и҆ взе́мъ жре́цъ да всы́плетъ въ во́дꙋ:

And the priest shall cause the woman to stand before the Lord, and shall uncover the head of the woman, and shall put into her hands the sacrifice of memorial, the sacrifice of jealousy; and in the hand of the priest shall be the water of this conviction that brings the curse.

καὶ στήσει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν γυναῖκα ἔναντι Κυρίου καὶ ἀποκαλύψει τὴν κεφαλὴν τῆς γυναικὸς καὶ δώσει ἐπὶ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῆς τὴν θυσίαν τοῦ μνημοσύνου, τὴν θυσίαν τῆς ζηλοτυπίας, ἐν δὲ τῇ χειρὶ τοῦ ἱερέως ἔσται τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τοῦ ἐπικαταρωμένου τούτου.

и҆ да поста́витъ жре́цъ женꙋ̀ пред̾ гдⷭ҇емъ, и҆ да ѿкры́етъ главꙋ̀ женѣ̀, и҆ да да́стъ въ рꙋ́цѣ є҆ѧ̀ же́ртвꙋ па́мѧти, же́ртвꙋ ревнова́нїѧ: въ рꙋцѣ́ же жерца̀ да бꙋ́детъ вода̀ ѡ҆бличе́нїѧ клѧ́твеннаѧ сїѧ̀.

And the priest shall adjure her, and shall say to the woman, If no one has lain with thee, and if thou hast not transgressed so as to be polluted, being under the power of thy husband, be free from this water of the conviction that causes the curse.

καὶ ὁρκιεῖ αὐτὴν ὁ ἱερεύς, καὶ ἐρεῖ τῇ γυναικί· εἰ μὴ κεκοίμηταί τις μετὰ σοῦ, εἰ μὴ παραβέβηκας μιανθῆναι ὑπὸ τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν σεαυτῆς, ἀθῴα ἴσθι ἀπὸ τοῦ ὕδατος τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τοῦ ἐπικαταρωμένου τούτου·

И҆ да заклене́тъ ю҆̀ жре́цъ и҆ рече́тъ женѣ̀: а҆́ще никто́же бы́сть съ тобо́ю, и҆ нѣ́си престꙋпи́ла ѡ҆скверни́тисѧ под̾ мꙋ́жемъ твои́мъ, неви́нна бꙋ́ди ѿ воды̀ ѡ҆бличе́нїѧ клѧ́твенныѧ сеѧ̀:

20

But if being a married woman thou hast transgressed, or been polluted, and any one has lain with thee, beside thy husband:

εἰ δὲ σὺ παραβέβηκας ὕπανδρος οὖσα, ἢ μεμίανσαι καὶ ἔδωκέ τις τὴν κοίτην αὐτοῦ ἐν σοί, πλὴν τοῦ ἀνδρός σου·

а҆́ще же престꙋпи́ла є҆сѝ, мꙋжа́та сꙋ́щи, и҆лѝ ѡ҆скверне́на є҆сѝ, и҆ дадѐ кто̀ тебѣ̀ ло́же своѐ, кромѣ̀ мꙋ́жа твоегѡ̀.

then the priest shall adjure the woman by the oaths of this curse, and the priest shall say to the woman, The Lord bring thee into a curse and under an oath in the midst of thy people, in that the Lord should cause thy thigh to rot and thy belly to swell;

καὶ ὁρκιεῖ ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν γυναῖκα ἐν τοῖς ὅρκοις τῆς ἀρᾶς ταύτης, καὶ ἐρεῖ ὁ ἱερεὺς τῇ γυναικί· δῴη σε Κύριος ἐν ἀρᾷ καὶ ἐνόρκιον ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ λαοῦ σου, ἐν τῷ δοῦναι Κύριον τὸν μηρόν σου διαπεπτωκότα, καὶ τὴν κοιλίαν σου πεπρησμένην,

И҆ заклене́тъ жре́цъ женꙋ̀ клѧ́твами клѧ́твы сеѧ̀, и҆ рече́тъ жре́цъ женѣ̀: да да́стъ тѧ̀ гдⷭ҇ь въ клѧ́твꙋ и҆ проклѧ́тїе средѝ люді́й твои́хъ, внегда̀ да́ти гдⷭ҇ꙋ стегнꙋ̀ твоемꙋ̀ ѿпа́сти и҆ чре́вꙋ твоемꙋ̀ разсѣ́стисѧ:

and this water bringing the curse shall enter into thy womb to cause thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot. And the woman shall say, So be it, So be it.

καὶ εἰσελεύσεται τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ἐπικαταρώμενον τοῦτο εἰς τὴν κοιλίαν σου πρῆσαι γαστέρα καὶ διαπεσεῖν μηρόν σου. καὶ ἐρεῖ ἡ γυνή· γένοιτο, γένοιτο.

и҆ вни́детъ вода̀ клѧ́твеннаѧ сїѧ̀ во чре́во твоѐ, є҆́же расто́ргнꙋти ᲂу҆тро́бꙋ твою̀, и҆ ѿпа́сти стегнꙋ̀ твоемꙋ̀. И҆ ѿвѣща́етъ жена̀: бꙋ́ди, бꙋ́ди.

And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and shall blot them out with the water of the conviction that brings the curse.

καὶ γράψει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὰς ἀρὰς ταύτας εἰς βιβλίον, καὶ ἐξαλείψει εἰς τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τοῦ ἐπικαταρωμένου.

И҆ да напи́шетъ жре́цъ клѧ̑твы сїѧ̑ въ кни́зѣ, и҆ и҆згла́дитъ въ водѣ̀ ѡ҆бличе́нїѧ клѧ́твеннагѡ:

24

And he shall cause the woman to drink the water of the conviction that brings the curse; and the water of the conviction that brings the curse shall enter into her.

καὶ ποτιεῖ τὴν γυναῖκα τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τοῦ ἐπικαταρωμένου, καὶ εἰσελεύσεται εἰς αὐτὴν τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ἐπικαταρώμενον τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ.

и҆ напои́тъ женꙋ̀ водо́ю ѡ҆бличе́нїѧ клѧ́твенною, и҆ вни́детъ въ ню̀ вода̀ клѧ́твеннаѧ ѡ҆бличе́нїѧ.

And the priest shall take from the hand of the woman the sacrifice of jealousy, and shall present the sacrifice before the Lord, and shall bring it to the altar.

καὶ λήψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐκ χειρὸς τῆς γυναικὸς τὴν θυσίαν τῆς ζηλοτυπίας καὶ ἐπιθήσει τὴν θυσίαν ἔναντι Κυρίου καὶ προσοίσει αὐτὴν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον,

И҆ да во́зметъ жре́цъ ѿ рꙋкѝ же́нски же́ртвꙋ ревнова́нїѧ, и҆ да возложи́тъ же́ртвꙋ пред̾ гдⷭ҇емъ, и҆ да принесе́тъ ю҆̀ ко ѻ҆лтарю̀:

26

And the priest shall take a handful of the sacrifice as a memorial of it, and shall offer it up upon the altar; and afterwards he shall cause the woman to drink the water.

καὶ δράξεται ὁ ἱερεὺς ἀπὸ τῆς θυσίας τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς καὶ ἀνοίσει αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ποτιεῖ τὴν γυναῖκα τὸ ὕδωρ.

и҆ да во́зметъ жре́цъ го́рстїю ѿ же́ртвы па́мѧть є҆ѧ̀, и҆ да принесе́тъ ю҆̀ на ѻ҆лта́рь, и҆ по се́мъ напои́тъ водо́ю женꙋ̀:

27

And it shall come to pass, if she be defiled, and have altogether escaped the notice of her husband, then the water of the conviction that brings the curse shall enter into her; and she shall swell in her belly, and her thigh shall rot, and the woman shall be for a curse in the midst of her people.

καὶ ἔσται, ἐὰν ᾖ μεμιασμένη καὶ λήθῃ λάθη τὸν ἄνδρα αὐτῆς, καὶ εἰσελεύσεται εἰς αὐτὴν τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τὸ ἐπικαταρώμενον, καὶ πρησθήσεται τὴν κοιλίαν, καὶ διαπεσεῖται ὁ μηρὸς αὐτῆς, καὶ ἔσται ἡ γυνὴ εἰς ἀρὰν τῷ λαῷ αὐτῆς.

и҆ бꙋ́детъ а҆́ще є҆́сть ѡ҆скверне́на, и҆ а҆́ще ᲂу҆тае́нїемъ ᲂу҆таи́сѧ ѿ мꙋ́жа своегѡ̀, и҆ вни́детъ въ ню̀ вода̀ клѧ́твеннаѧ ѡ҆бличе́нїѧ, и҆ надме́тъ чре́во є҆ѧ̀, и҆ ѿпаде́тъ стегно̀ є҆ѧ̀, и҆ бꙋ́детъ жена̀ въ проклѧ́тїе въ лю́дехъ свои́хъ:

28

But if the woman have not been polluted, and be clean, then shall she be guiltless and shall conceive seed.

ἐὰν δὲ μὴ μιανθῇ ἡ γυνὴ καὶ καθαρὰ ᾖ, καὶ ἀθῴα ἔσται καὶ ἐκσπερματιεῖ σπέρμα.

а҆́ще же не бꙋ́детъ ѡ҆скверне́на жена̀, и҆ чиста̀ є҆́сть, и҆ неви́нна бꙋ́детъ, и҆ пло́дствовати бꙋ́детъ сѣ́мѧ.

29

This is the law of jealousy, wherein a married woman should happen to transgress, and be defiled;

οὗτος ὁ νόμος τῆς ζηλοτυπίας, ᾧ ἂν παραβῇ ἡ γυνὴ ὕπανδρος οὖσα καὶ μιανθῇ·

Се́й зако́нъ ревнова́нїѧ, комꙋ́-либо а҆́ще престꙋ́питъ жена̀, мꙋжа́та сꙋ́щи, и҆ ѡ҆скверни́тсѧ:

or in the case of a man on whomsoever the spirit of jealousy should come, and he should be jealous of his wife, and he should place his wife before the Lord, and the priest shall execute towards her all this law.

ἢ ἄνθρωπος, ᾧ ἐὰν ἐπέλθῃ ἐπ’ αὐτὸν πνεῦμα ζηλώσεως καὶ ζηλώσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ, καὶ στήσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ ἔναντι Κυρίου, καὶ ποιήσῃ αὐτῇ ὁ ἱερεὺς πάντα τὸν νόμον τοῦτον·

и҆лѝ человѣ́къ, є҆мꙋ́же а҆́ще на́йдетъ на́нь дꙋ́хъ ревнова́нїѧ, и҆ возревнꙋ́етъ къ женѣ̀ свое́й, и҆ поста́витъ женꙋ̀ свою̀ пред̾ гдⷭ҇емъ, и҆ да сотвори́тъ є҆́й жре́цъ ве́сь зако́нъ се́й:

Then the man shall be clear from sin, and that woman shall bear her sin.

καὶ ἀθῷος ἔσται ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἀπὸ ἁμαρτίας, καὶ ἡ γυνὴ ἐκείνη λήψεται τὴν ἁμαρτίαν αὐτῆς. [*] In the original: ἀκάθαρτον ἐπὶ ψυχῇ (unclean from a soul).

и҆ чи́стъ бꙋ́детъ человѣ́къ ѿ грѣха̀, и҆ жена̀ та̀ во́зметъ грѣ́хъ сво́й.
