2 Timothy 4:9–22 § 299

2 Timothy 4:9–22 § 299

My son Timothy, Be diligent to come to me quickly; for Démas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed unto Thessaloníca; Créscens to Galátia, Titus for Dalmátia. Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for the ministry. And Týchicus I have sent to Éphesus. Bring the cloak that I left with Cárpus at Tróas when you come—and the books, especially the parchments. Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord reward him according to his works. You also must beware of him, for he has greatly resisted our words. At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. I pray God that it may not laid to their charge. But the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly Kingdom. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen! Salute Prísca and Áquila, and the household of Onesíphorus. Erástus stayed in Córinth, but Tróphimus I have left in Milétus sick. Do your utmost to come before winter. Eubúlus greets you, as well as Púdens, Línus, Claudia, and all the brethren. The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.

Mark 11.22-26 § 51

Mark 11.22-26 § 51

22

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

25

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26

But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
